Queen Victoria Market

We took a trip down to the city to Queen Victoria Market for a walk, to buy some fresh vegetables and some delicious sausages for dinner...

We walked past this little stall by the side of the car park selling chickens...adult chickens, roosters and many others...these chickens are meant for rearing and egg collecting not for people to cook chicken herbal soup...haha I know most of you were thinking of that when you saw the chicken in the cages...hahaha!

Here the little chicklets...not fully grown chickens yet...buy home to rear in your backyard...and collect their eggs for breakfast... Also delicious eggs, free range, caged so many different kinds of eggs...

They also sell cute litte bunny rabbits...I caught 1 of them drinking from his water bowl....so cute !
And they sell little ducklings and chicks for kids to rear...I know Simon would grow them for his favourite "Peking Duck"

We then walked over to the vegetable market...look at all the varieties of fresh vegetables...the wonders of what God made for all of us.

Something you don't see often in Singapore...String beans of different colours. The yellow ones are called Butter Beans...

Here you see all the different sizes of beetroot, carrots, fennel, zucchini, avocado, silver beet, egg plants and the different varieities of tomatoes...behind the lady you will see all the different kinds of potatoes.

This little stall sells all sorts of nuts, cooked and uncooked...also beans and many other stuff....

Father buying his jacket from this vietnamese stall holder. He bought a nice jacket for A$18. Well that's all for our little trip to Queen Victoria Markets. It's definitely a place for tourists and locals to shop.
